Anyways, hope this helped, ask me anything if you're still having problems. If you're wondering why only turning off lazy chunk loading in minecraft itself wouldn't help it, the clients are programmed to ignore/override the minecraft settings and use whatever you use in the client option. However, I think that vanilla minecraft (without optifine) does all chunk creation in a single thread, and saves a chunk out to disk as soon as its done. Idk go to your mods menu search chunk loading and do pretty much the same thing lul. The lazy chunk loading setting should be set to vanilla(which means off)ġ. While we can’t promise that level of improvement, we have yet to install Optifine on a machine and not see either the concrete FPS rise and/or the overall performance improve. ![]() The lazy chunk loading option should be turned offĤ. With Optifine on the default settings it will play Minecraft at 15 FPS with additional tweaking it will play Minecraft at 24-30FPS or so. This guide is for extremely slow chunk loading in optifine by itself, lunar, feather(ew) and badlion.ģ. ![]() But some of my friends still ask me to this day on how to fix it so here you go.
